I have a 1997 V6 auto. Bone stock engine and transmission, 300k miles, and A LOT OF RESEARCH. I've calculated my current stall speed to be 1900 (+/- 50) rpm. I've found that if you place it in manual second (2) and go WOT, whatever the revs sit at is your stall speed. Stall speed is, basically, meant to make the t/c function such as a clutch does.
